"World Wide Weekend Registration" Now Open!

We're excited to announce that registration for "World Wide Weekend" is now open. "World Wide Weekend" is a WDWCelebrations Signature Event taking place on Friday-Sunday, September 26-28, 2008, with an add-on tour scheduled for Thursday, September 25. The add-on tour is not yet available for booking, but we will let you know as soon as it becomes available.

Registration for the general event is free. We have developed a Premium Registration option which entitles you to additional perks and gifts to be announced soon. This Premium Registration option is included in all WDWCelebrations Exclusive Resort Packages (see below) booked through Mouse Fan Travel®, and is also available to guests not booking a package for a cost of $10 per person. You can add the Premium Registration option at any time after registering for the general event by visiting the Premium Registration page on our website.

We're planning several exclusive events, including group meals and other in-park exclusive experiences, during the course of the weekend, and as soon as the details are confirmed, we will let you know.

As one of our founding guidelines, WDWCelebrations is committed to ensuring that all of our events are approved by Disney management. We are pleased to release the final, fully approved schedule for "A Wild Decade".

A WDWCelebrations Commemorative Event celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Disney's Animal Kingdom® Park

April 22, 2008

7:00 am - 8:15 am	Registration (Tables located inside security checkpoint)
8:45 am	Turnstiles Open
8:45 am - 9:00 am	Rededication Ceremony (in front of Tree of Life)
9:15 am	Entrance to Theater in the Wild for Special Event with Joe Rohde
9:45 am	Special Event with Joe Rohde (Theater in the Wild)
11:30 am	Finding Nemo: The Musical Group Show
12:30 pm	Expedition Everest Group Ride
2:00 pm	History Walk (meet in Dinoland, exact location announced at registration)
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm	Group Meal at Flame Tree Barbeque (Owl and Spider pavilions)
6:15 pm	Presentation of Donation to DisneyWorldTrivia.com Dream Team Project (same location as History Walk meeting location)
6:20 pm	Group Photo (same location as History Walk meeting location)
7:30 pm	Countdown to Fin (Dinosaur Last Ride of the Night Meet)

Please note that registration begins at 7:00 am and closes promptly at 8:15 am. We strongly encourage you to be there as early as possible to ensure a smooth process for everyone.

The Group Meal takes place at Flame Tree Barbeque. We have two pavilions, Owl and Spider, reserved for our group. Due to the size of our group, we have designated three dining periods to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to join us. The three periods are 4:00-4:40pm, 4:40-5:20pm, and 5:20-6:00pm. You will be able to choose your preferred dining time at registration, pending availability. Please arrive at registration as early as possible to ensure you receive your desired dining time.

We have also posted a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page for "A Wild Decade" on our website at http://www.wdwcelebrations.com/a-wild-decade/a-wild-decade-faq.html. Please check this page and email us with any further questions. We will update this page as we receive questions, so check back periodically over the next two weeks for updates.

A Wild Decade Registration Closed

Due to logistical constraints regarding Disney's Animal Kingdom® Park, the registration for "A Wild Decade" must be capped at 400 guests. As of today, we have reached our maximum of 400 guests, and registration has been closed.

If you previously registered for "A Wild Decade" and have now determined that you will not able to attend, please let us know by email so that we can remove your name and open your spot for someone else. To remove your registration, please send an email to info@wdwcelebrations.com with your name and the number of people registered in your party.

WDWCelebrations Important Announcement:

Due to logistical constraints regarding Disney's Animal Kingdom® Park, the registration for "A Wild Decade" will be capped at 400 guests. As of today, we currently have 370 registered guests. If you are planning to attend "A Wild Decade" but have not yet registered, please do so soon! The registration form will be deactivated when we reach 400 guests.

Welcome to the latest edition of the WDWCelebrations newsletter. It’s been a while since our last issue, and we’d like to welcome all of our new subscribers!

We’re excited to announce that our WDWCelebrations Shop is now open for anyone looking for WDWCelebrations logo merchandise or “A Wild Decade” event merchandise! And as you’ll see when you visit the shop, we now have a logo for the event:

As part of our Charity Initiative, a small amount ($1-$2) has been added to the base CafePress price of most items, and this additional money will go directly to charity. Once again we are delighted to be affiliated with Lou Mongello's DisneyWorldTrivia.com Dream Team Project which benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America.

We know many of you have been asking about the Celebration 25 Commemorative DVD and Scrapbook. Matt Pezzula of Storyboard Weddings has been working on the DVD and is almost finished! Within the next week we will be ready to begin accepting orders, with a targeted ship date by the end of February. Jackie Steele and Joel Maxwell have been working on the Scrapbook and we have just put up a few sample images on the Celebration 25 page of the website. We’ll keep you updated via the newsletter when the DVD is ready for ordering.

Registration for "A Wild Decade" will be closing on April 14, 2008. Please be sure to register before that date as we will not be able to accept walk-up guests on the day of the event.

[WDWCelebrations Newsletter] Check out our new site with new features!

The WDWCelebrations Team is pleased to announce that our newly-redesigned website is now live! We've added several new features and we're working to implement several more in the coming months. In addition to completely redesigning the site, we've added an RSS feed so you can keep updated on site and event news in between issues of the newsletter. You can subscribe using your favorite feed reader by clicking the link on our home page. We've also added email addresses for our entire team as well as a new voicemail number on our Contact Us page.

We're also implementing another exciting new way for you to communicate with us. We will be holding periodic Skypecasts for you to talk with the WDWCelebrations Team and ask questions about upcoming events. Our first Skypecast will be held Saturday January 19th at 8:00 pm EST. For more information on Skypecasts, see our Skypecast page. Skypecasts are internet conference calls using the popular Skype software, available at http://www.skype.com.

A new Event Archive has also been added, with some information about Celebration 25, including a preview video of the Celebration 25 Commemorative DVD.

And remember, registration is now open for our next Commemorative Event, "A Wild Decade," in honor of Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary on April 22, 2008. More information and a tentative schedule is posted in the Upcoming Events section of our website.

"A Wild Decade" merchandise will soon be available in the WDWCelebrations Shop, set to open in the next several weeks. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready!
